Meehan Named To CoSIDA Academic All-America Team

Boston College women's soccer forward McKenzie Meehan has been named to the 2016 Academic All-America Division 1 soccer third team as announced today by the College Sports Information Directors of America (CoSIDA).
Meehan, a native of Glocester, R.I., earned her undergraduate degree from BC in May of 2015 and will earn her MBA in of 2016.
This past season Meehan led the team in scoring with 12 goals and two assists for 26 points. She became the program's all-time leading point scorer with 124 career points. Meehan is also the program's all-time leader in goals scored (58) and game-winning goals (18).
Meehan became the program's all-time leader in goals scored when she eclipsed the mark in a win over Pittsburgh on October 8, in 2015. A two-time All-ACC first team selection, Meehan was a preseason Hermann Trophy Watchlist player in 2015 and 2016. She was a 2015 COSIDA Academic All-District team honoree.
