REACTION FROM COACH ALISON FOLEY
About the offense …
"We had some good looks at goal. I said it at the beginning of the year our attack is one of the best in the country. And I think they can score against anyone in the country.''
About the defense …
''Our backline saw a lot of different ways that Florida State came at us. We handled the balls over the top really well. And then they tried to build through the midfield and our back line kept everything so compact that there weren't any seems in our back four. Individually they defended really well in the individual battles. Collectively I thought they were amazing.''
GAME NOTES
- Senior Hayley Dowd, scored her fourth game-winning goal of the season. She now has 14 career GWG, moving into third overall in program history.
- BC is the only team to put two goals in the net against the Seminoles this season.
- The Eagles are only the third team to score against FSU this season.
- R-sophomore Alexis Bryant is now 8-2-1 on the season.
UP NEXT
- The Eagles will continue their home stand as they take on Virginia Tech on Sunday at 1 p.m.
