Miranda Thompson crossed the line first for BC
Louisville, KY. – The Boston College women's cross country team finished in 13th place overall with 348 points at the ACC Championships on Friday morning. The Eagles competed against 15 teams in the 6K run at Tom Sawyer State Park.

Freshman Miranda Thompson was the first Eagle to cross the line, taking 58th place in a field of 129 runners.

The Eagles total time for the race was 1:50.02.00 and they averaged 22:00.40. Their 13th place finish put them ahead of Clemson and Miami.

BC Highlights:
- Thompson led the Eagles with a time of 21:44.9 for 56th place overall. She averaged 6:54.4 per mile.
- Senior Ashbrook Gwinn was close behind at 64th place with a time of 21:47.9.
- Junior Delia Hayes finished in 75th place at 21:59.6.
- Junior Paige Duca finished the 6K in 22:04.2 for 79th place.
- Senior Clarissa Modde rounded out the top five scorers for the Eagles with a 91th place finish and a time of 22:25.4.
- Freshmen Colleen Sliney and Kylee Raftis also had strong performances for the Eagles, crossing the line at 22:39.93 and 22:46.95, respectively.
- Freshman Lauren White finished the race in 22:57.6 and sophomore Chloe Hautiere was close behind at 23:07.9.
- NC State won the meet with 43 points, marking the second straight year the Wolfpack has won the ACC Championships.
- Senior Paige Stoner of Syracuse was the top individual finisher with a time of 19:52.0.
