Meehan Named to COSIDA Academic All-District Team

Senior McKenzie Meehan has been named to the 2016 College Sports Information Directors of America (CoSIDA) Academic All-District™ Women's Soccer Team as released today. COSIDA recognizes the nation's top student-athletes for their combined performances athletically and in the classroom.

First-team Academic All-District™ honorees advance to the CoSIDA Academic All-America® Team ballot, where first-, second- and third team All-America honorees will be selected later this month. Meehan, a native of Glocester, Rhode Island, was named to the 2015 Academic All-America Division 1 soccer team. This is her second consecutive COSIDA All-District honor. A three-time All-ACC Academic team honoree, Meehan received her undergraduate degree in economics in May of 2015 and she will earn her MBA in May of 2017.
