Eagles Compete at ITA Northeast Regional

PHILADELPHIA – This past weekend, a select group of Boston College men's tennis players competed in the ITA Northeast Regional, hosted by the University of Pennsylvania.

In singles action, Kent Mukai advanced to the main draw after winning a pair of qualifying matches. Derek Austin fell one win short of reaching the main bracket, while Hank Workman fell in the first round in main-bracket play.

In doubles, tandem of Austin and Sean Mullins advanced out of qualifying and moved to the second round before falling to the seeded pair of Kushaan Nath and Tom Caputo from Binghamton in the second round.

The Eagles are scheduled to return to the court Nov. 4-5 when they travel to Wilmington, Del., for the annual Wilmington Seahawk Invitational.
