Here are the headlines from the outside media this past weekend on current and former Eagles
CHESTNUT HILL, Mass. – Following the loss to No. 3 Clemson, the Eagles lost their 11th straight ACC game but sit at the .500 mark on the season and are still on the right path to qualifying for a bowl game.
As for Saturday, the Tigers came to The Heights motivated to keep their undefeated season. Clemson was consistently able to put pressure on graduate QB Patrick Towles and took advantage of a few big plays to jump on the scoring quickly.
With the bye week this week, Boston College will not have another game until the take the field against Syracuse Saturday, Oct. 22. The second half of the season will determine the fate of the Eagles as they will be facing tough opponents but have the chance of winning those games.
This week off for the Eagles will help them heal from some injuries and head coach Steve Addazio expects that the rest the players receive this week will carry over into the second half of the season.

Alumni News:
Over the weekend, former women's hockey star Haley Skarupa spoke with USA Hockey about the transition from full-time college player to now playing professionally and for the national team full-time. Skarupa '16 is second all-time in points at the The Heights.
