Dair Leads the Way at Bulldog Invitational

Eagles junior went a perfect 5-0 on the weekend including a 3-0 mark in singles.

NEW HAVEN, Conn. – The Boston College women's tennis team won 21 of 33 matches played this weekend at the Bulldog Invitational, hosted by Yale. It was the Eagles' second tournament during the fall season and first in two weeks.

Asiya Dair, who is ranked No. 53 in the country this fall, went a perfect 5-0 in her matches, including a 3-0 mark in singles at the No. 1 position. Jackie Urbinati went 5-1 over the weekend with a 3-0 mark in doubles, while No. 109 Lexi Borr went 4-1 with a 3-0 mark in singles. Emily Safron posted 4-2 overall mark while Kylie Wilcox made her collegiate debut with a 3-2 mark which included a 3-0 mark in doubles.

The Eagles will return to the court in two weeks when they compete in the ITA Northeast Regionals in New Haven from Thursday, Oct. 25 through Tuesday, Oct. 25.
