CHESTNUT HILL, Mass. - The college football season has been over for a little more than two weeks, but that hasn't stopped one former Eagle from shining in the spotlight.
Former linebacker Luke Kuechly has played a starring role in helping his Carolina Panthers reach their first Super Bowl since 2005. While his strong academic background and sincere personality off the field has earned him the moniker of "The Gentleman Linebacker", that sincerity doesn't hold up once you step onto the football field on the opposite side of him.Â
Men's Hockey

The Eagles have skated their way to 27-0 and have broken several records along the way.Â
Nobody has arguably accomplished more milestones this season than goaltender Katie Burt, who recently became the fastest goaltender in NCAA history to reach 50 wins, doing so in 55 tries. Meanwhile, head coach Katie Crowley has left no doubt that her grit and determination match that of her squad.Â

After a stellar campaign last season, the Boston College women's lacrosse team is coming into 2016 with higher expectations. Ranked No. 8 in the preseason poll by Lacrosse Magazine, the Eagles are set on "making their mark in the ACC."
