- Junior Dominique Masters scored on a penalty corner with less than a minute remaining to derail the Eagles’ comeback effort
HOW IT HAPPENED
- In the fourth minute, senior Carolin Tronceliti had her shot saved before junior Isabel Flens was there to stuff home the rebound to put the Wildcats on the board first
- Northwestern struck again in the 22nd minute, as junior Dominique Masters capitalized on the rebound after Flens’ initial shot was saved
- Boston College got one back with under three minutes left, when sophomore Alyssa Olenick’s corner found the stick of junior Emily McCoy, who buried her shot
- The Eagles pulled goalkeeper Leah Settipane immediately following the goal
- With seconds remaining, Masters recorded her second goal of the game off a penalty corner from senior Lisa McCarthy
