Eagles Set to Begin ACC Schedule

Chestnut Hill, Mass. – The Boston College field hockey team is set to open up the ACC schedule.
The team split a pair of games over the weekend, topping then-No. 19 Boston University, 2-1 (OT) on Friday and falling to No. 1 Connecticut, 2-1, on Saturday. The Eagles sit at 4-2 through six games.
Boston College will return home for the first time since the opening weekend of the season.

SERIES NOTES
• The Orange lead the all-time series against the Eagles, 20-10
• The two teams have split the last four meetings with Boston College winning both regular-season matchups and Syracuse taking both ACC tournament tilts
• The Eagles are 6-2 against the Orange in the last eight meetings between the teams at the Newton Field Hockey Complex
• The Huskies lead the all-time series against Boston College, 11-17
• The Eagles have won nine of the last 11 games in the series, including four straight at home
