HOW IT HAPPENED
- In the 21st minute, junior Leah Frome was wide open and fired a shot that ricocheted of Quinnipiac goalkeeper Bianca Porcaro and onto the stick of senior Kelcie Hromisin. Porcaro stopped Hromisin's effort from close range with Elizabeth Dennehy there to stuff home the rebound.
- Four minutes later, Lucy Lytle dribbled into the circle from the left and hit a shot that squeezed through the legs of the goalkeeper.
- Six minutes into the second half, Emily McCoy controlled the ball down the right side of the field before sniping the ball to Hromisin who capitalized on a one-on-one with the goalkeeper.
- In the 60th minute, Emily McCoy dribbled down the left side of the field and swung a perfect pass into senior AshLeigh Sebia who deflected the ball into the back of the net.
