Marti Mosetti Earns Spot On U-20 Italian National Team

Boston College sophomore Martina Mosetti has been named to the Under-20 Italian Women’s National team which will compete at the 2015 U-20 European Championship. The championship will be played in Tinaro-Teguise, Lanzarote, Spain on July 2-12.
Mosetti, a native of Trieste, Italy, had a solid rookie season for the Eagles in 2014-15. The guard started 16 of 30 games and averaged 21.7 minutes per game. She averaged 4.4 points and 2.3 assists per game. Mosetti shot 35.6 from the floor and grabbed 2.1 rebounds per game. She had a career-high 14 points, grabbed five rebounds and a career-high seven assists in the win over Clemson this past season.
The Under-20 European Championship will begin on July 2 for Italy. The team will play host Spain followed by the Czech Republic on July 3. The final first-round game Italy will play Hungary on July 4.
