
Eagles Conclude Fencing Season at NCAA's

COLUMBUS, Ohio--
Boston College women's epeeists Olivia Adragna and Renee Bichette finishedtheir fencing season on March 21 at the 2015 NCAA Women's Fencing Championship. The event was hosted by The Ohio State University at French Fieldhouse in Columbus, Ohio.
Junior Olivia Adragna finished in 20th place in the women's epee event, winning eight of her 23 matches. This was Adragna'ssecond NCAA Championship appearance; shealso qualified for the competitionin 2013 as a freshman.
Adragnawas named the 2015 ACC Co-Women's Fencer of the Year for Epée, sharing the honor with Notre Dame's.The Malverne, NY, nativefinished the regular season with a 51-17 record.
Sophomore Renee Bichette placed 21st in the women's epee in her first appearance at the NCAA Championship. The Orlando, FL native compiled eight wins over 23 matches.
Adragna and Bichette led the women's epee squad to a 22-2 season record . Their participation in the national championships concluded the season for Boston College. The Eagles will graduate three seniors: Cara Hall on the women's side and William Boosalis and Berent LaBrecque for the men.
