Field Hockey Announces Spring Schedule

Chestnut Hill, Mass. - The Boston College field hockey team will play in five tournaments and scrimmages during the spring in preparation for the 2015 season. The Eagles face many of the teams they meet during the regular season including Duke, UNC, UNH, Harvard and BU.
The Eagles, who finished the 2014 season 13-7 and ranked 11th in the nation open up their spring schedule in Durham, North Carolina to take on the Blue Devils, the Maryland Terrapins, and the U21 U.S. National Team.
The Eagles will then make the short trip over to UNC for a scrimmage against the Tarheels on March 29.
BC and Boston University match up for a crosstown contest on Sunday, April 12. Before the contest against the Terriers, the Eagles will participate in the MS Walk to help fundraising efforts in finding a cure for Multiple Sclerosis.
Boston College hosts two tournaments in the spring. On April 18, BC will welcome Northeastern, Providence, UMass, and New Hampshire to the Newton Field Hockey Complex for the first tournament.
The Eagles finish off their spring schedule on Saturday, April 25 by hosting Boston University, Harvard, Quinnipiac, and UConn for the second tournament at the Newton Field Hockey Complex.
The annual field hockey banquet takes place on Sunday, April 26.
