BC Finishes Season at St. Lawrence Carnival

LAKE PLACID, N.Y. -Â The Eagles travelled to Lake Placid, NY to compete in the St. Lawrence Carnival. The Carnival also served as the EISA Championship and the NCAA Regional Championship. The St. Lawrence Carnival was held at the famous Whiteface Mountain, a U.S. Olympic Training site.
On Friday, Feb. 27, the men and women competed in the giant slalom. Freshman Carter Robertson was the top skier for the men's team, placing 23rd overall. Junior Chris Keating finished in 41st place, followed by freshman Brian Mangiacotti in 43rd.
In the women's competition, Bug Pech led the way with her 30th place finish. Freshman Maggie Gilligan placed 36th, while sophomore Kristie Ryan finished in 38th overall.
The men and women competed in the slalom on Saturday, Feb.28th. Carter Robertsonagain finished first for the Eagles in 22nd place, followed by captainChase Ryan in 25th place. Freshman Brian Mangiacotti rounded out the men's scoring with a 38th-place finish.
In the women's slalom, Bug Pechraced to a 42nd place finish, followed by Kristie Ryan in 43rd position. SeniorMichelle Solomon finished the race in 49th place.
