Skiing Braves the Cold at Saint Michael's Carnival

The skiers raced through heavy snowfall in the giant slalom on Friday. Team captain and junior Chase Ryan led the men with a 22nd place finish. Freshman Jak Kennedy finished in 30th position and sophomore Ryan Barney rounded out the team scoring for Boston College in 45th place.
Bug Pech (sophomore) placed 29th for the women while freshman Maggie Gilligan claimed 37th.
In the men's slalom, Ryan Barney had a standout performance for 21st place finish. Chase Ryan finished in 33rd place.
For the women, Bug Pech led the way in 35th place, followed by fellow sophomore Kristie Ryan in 36th place. Maggie Gilligan finished strong in 41st place.
The Eagles will compete at the Dartmouth Carnival on February 6th and 7th.
