The Boston College women's basketball team will host Virginia Tech on Sunday afternoon at Conte Forum, 1 p.m. Fans can puchase tickets at the door.
This game between Boston College and Virginia Tech will be the 22nd game between the two teams. The Hokies lead the overall series, 11-10.
In the 21 games, the two teams have gone into overtime four times, including last year when BC lost to the Hokies, 70-63.
The first meeting between the Eagles and the Hokies was first played on December, 29, 1989. V-Tech defeated BC, 74-65, despite 20 points from Carla Wenger and 10 boards from Sarah Behn.
SENIOR DAY
On Sunday, March 1, the Boston College women's basketball program will honor the senior class - Shayra Brown, and Victoria Lesko as well as team managers - Reoni Mapp and Kwani Lunis ... Brown graduated from BC with an undergraduate degree in communications, May 2014. She is currently working on her MBA ... Lesko will graduate in May 2015 with a degree in sociology. Lesko's final season was cut short with an injury ... Mapp and Lunis have worked behind the scenes with the women's basketball program for the last three seasons. Mapp will graduate in May with a degree in political science while Lunis will earn a degree in communications.

RECORD BREAKERS
The Eagles need two three's to break the single season program record for most three's made in a single season. The record (240) was set by the 2013-14 team ... The team has taken 654 three's this year - passing last year's team which set the program record of 651 attempts ... BC has 136 blocks - Karima Gabriel (44), Katie Quandt (30) and Alexa Coulombe (26) - which is the new program record for more blocks in a single season. The old record was 127 set by the 2008-09 team ... Nicole Boudreau became the fourth player in program history to pass the 200 mark in three-pointers made when she hit four from the arc against Louisville. She also became the 25th player in program history to reach the 1,000th point plateau ... BC set a program record when the team took 38 three-pointers in the win over St. Mary's. The team came within one shot of tying the record with 37 vs. UNC (2.1.15).
TEAM NOTES
Nicole Boudreau and Kelly Hughes combined for 140 of BC's 240 three-pointers last season. Boudreau and Hughes continue to lead BC from beyond the arc but they have added another partner from long range - Emilee Daley. The three guards - Hughes, Boudreau and Daley - have combined for 188 of BC's 654 three-pointers made ... In the 12 wins this season, BC is averaging 74 ppg. and shooting 43% from the floor. The Eagles are also averaging just 17 turnovers a game ... In the 16 losses, BC is averaging just 60.9 ppg. and shooting .377 percent from the floor. The Eagles are also averaging 20.1 turnovers a game in the losses. Opponents are averaging 78.8 points per game and shooting .444 percent ... Sophomores Kelly Hughes and Emilee Daley are creeping up the list on the All-Time List for Three's Made By A Sophomore - Hughes is 2nd with 76 & Daley is 7th with 49. The sophomore record is 84 held by Kerri Shields `13 (85 three's in 2010-11) ... Junior Karima Gabriel had five blocks and five steals in the loss vs. FSU (2.22.15). The last player to have five or more blocks in a game was Carolyn Swords `10 with five vs. FSU in the ACC Tournament on March 5, 2010.
