Chestnut Hill, Mass.- Boston College (7-4, 1-0 ACC) won their second match of the day, defeating Florida International University (2-4), 4-1.
The Eagles won the doubles point to gain the 1-0 advantage. Emily Safron and Sarah Dalton had a successful day, winning both of their doubles matches. Lexi Borr and Jessica Wacnik continued their winning ways, going 10-0 on the season.
Borr made her return to the No. 2 singles spot, winning a hard fought battle against Florida's Carlotta Orlando(4-6, 6-2, 7-6 [4]).
Boston College won three out of the four single matches, sealing the 4-1 victory.
The 7-4 Eagles will have their second ACC match of the season, traveling to the University of Virginia this Sunday at 11 a.m.
