The Boston College womne's basketball team will play at Syracuse on Thursday at 7 p.m. at the Carrier Dome. The Eagles are coming off an overtime victory against NC State on Monday. Kelly Hughes and Emilee Daley combined for 32 points and 12 rebounds in the win. Hughes had four of the nine points for BC in overtime. She also grabbed two big defensive rebounds in the win.
Syracuse is currently ranked 25th in the AP poll and defeated Virginia Tech on Sunday. The Orange are now 18-8 overalll and 8-5 in the conference.

This will be the 46th game between BC and Syracuse ... The Eagles lead the overall series, 23-22 ... Earlier this season, Syracuse defeated Boston College, 64-46, at Conte Forum. Emilee Daley had 13 points while rookie Ashley Kelsick added 11 points. Syracuse was led by Taylor Ford with 15 points and Diamond Henderson chipped in with 13 points ... The two teams first played on Feb. 19, 1983 in New York. Syracuse won the game, 66-62, despite 21 points from Rita Roach'86 and 16 from Jane Haubrich `85. Biz Houghton `86 had 12 boards ... Last year, Syracuse defeated BC, 71-47, at Conte Forum on Feb. 16. It was the first time the two teams met since the Eagles joined the ACC in 2005.
