The Eagles Compete at the Dartmouth Winter Carnival

The Eagles traveled to Lyme, New Hampshire this past weekend to compete in the annual Dartmouth Winter Carnival. The team raced in the bitter cold at the Dartmouth Skiway.
On Friday, February 6th, the men's and women's teams competed in the giant slalom. Freshman Carter Robertson was the top finisher for the men, placing 29th overall. Juniors Chris Keating and Chase Ryan placed 39th and 44th, respectively.
In the women's competition, Bug Pech led the way with her 35th place finish, followed by fellow sophomore Kristie Ryan in 44th place, and freshman Maggie Gilligan finished 50th overall.
The men and women competed in the slalom on Saturday, February 7th. Carter Robertson again finished first for the Eagles with a 30th-place finish, followed by captain Chase Ryan in 34th place. For the women's slalom, Bug Pech raced to a 37th place finish, while Maggie Gilligan finished in 40th position and senior Michelle Solomon placed 52nd.
The men's and women's ski team will return to competition at the Middlebury Carnival on February 13th and 14th.
