Eagles will close fall portion of schedule with road game against the Orange

THURSDAY'S HEADLINES
- BC is ranked second nationally in scoring (5.47 gpg) and third nationally in scoring defense (1.16 gapg)
- Alex Carpenter (23-22-45) leads the nation in points and points per game (2.37), while Haley Skarupa is tied for fifth in points (14-20-34) and sixth in points per game (1.79)
- Haley Skarupa enters the week with 199 career points and is looking to become the Eagles' third 200-point scorer in program history
- Megan Keller is the nation's leading scorer among defenseman with 22 points (7-15-22) ... her eight power-play assists also lead all players nationally

SKARUPA INCHING TOWARD 200-POINT MILESTONE
Haley Skarupa enters Thursday's game with 199 career points, one shy of reaching the 200-point plateau ... when she reaches 200 points, she will become the third women's player in BC history to reach that milestone ... Skarupa has 94 career goals and 105 career assists in 122 games ... Kelli Stack '11 was the first women's player to reach 200 points, doing so in 2011 and finishing her career with 209 points ... earlier this year, Alex Carpenter reached 200 points, as well.
CROWLEY CLOSE TO 200 WINS
Katie Crowley, now in her ninth season as the Eagles' head coach, has a career record of 199-73-39 at the helm of the Eagles' program ... she has a career winning percentage of .703 … overall, this is her 13th season at The Heights after joining Tom Mutch's staff as an assistant coach ahead of the 2003-04 season.
REGULAR-SEASON NON-CONFERENCE SUCCESS
Since 2012-13 seasons, Boston College has compiled a 26-7-4 regular-season record in non-conference match-ups ... so far this season, BC is 6-0-0 vs. non-league opponents ... in 2014-15, BC went 9-1-1 during the regular season against non-Hockey East opponents, with the lone loss coming to No. 4 Harvard in the Beanpot championship ... in 2013-14, the Eagles were 7-3-2 against non-HEA foes, after an 8-3-1 mark in 2012-13.

Boston College is a perfect 8-0-0 away from home this season, winning away contests at No. 9 Cornell (twice), UConn, Boston University, New Hampshire, No. 4 Northeastern and Maine (twice) ... in BC's eight road games, the Eagles have out-scored their hosts 45-5 and have posted four shutouts (Cornell, UConn, UNH, Maine) ...
