Meehan Named to the NSCAA 2015 NCAA All-America Team

Ealges forward earns spot on the third team
Boston College redshirt junior McKenzie Meehan was named to the National Soccer Coaches Association of America 2015 NSCAA All-America for NCAA Division I women's teams as announced today. Meehan was named to the third team.
All-Americans and their accomplishments will be celebrated and recognized at the NSCAA All-America Luncheon held during the 2016 NSCAA Convention in Baltimore on Saturday, Jan. 16, starting at noon.
Meehan's 2015 season was an impressive comeback season for the Eagles forward who missed the 2014 season to an injury.
The Eagles forward has had a record setting season as she finished as the ACC's leading goal scorer (16) and points leader (35). Meehan, an All-ACC first team honoree, scored a goal in 11 of the 19 games. She became the Eagles all-time leading goal scorer in a 2-1 win over in October. She now has 45 career goals and is second on the all-time point list with 95 points.Meehan was also named to the NSCAA Southeast first team All-America team.
Meehan, a native of Glocester, Rhode Island, was a second-team All-ACC selection in 2013 and missed the 2014 season with an injury. As a rookie she made the All-ACC Freshman team.
In May of 2015, Meehan earned her undergraduate degree in economics. She is currently working on a master's degree.
