
Carpenter, Davock Named Eagles of the Week

Pair honored for performances last week
CHESTNUT HILL, Mass. – Senior forward Alex Carpenter (women's hockey) and freshman midfielder Trevor Davock (men's soccer) have been named Eagles of the Week.
Carpenter was the Hockey East player of the week for the fifth time this season after a seven-point performance last week in a pair of wins. She collected four points (one goal, three assists) in the Eagles' 9-1 win over Providence, before recording a game-high three points (one goal, two assists) in BC's 6-1 win at No. 4 Northeastern on Saturday.
Davock helped lead the men's soccer team to the quarterfinals of the NCAA Championship for the second time in program history. He scored a goal in the 19th minute at No. 2 Georgetown as the match ended in a 1-1 draw. The Eagles, including Davock, connected on each of their penalty kicks to take a 5-4 decision and move on to the next round.
Women's hockey (17-0-0, 11-0-0 WHEA) is at Maine for a pair of games this weekend. Men's soccer (11-7-2) travels to Syracuse on Saturday at 2 p.m. for the right to advance to the College Cup.
