Meehan Named To 2015 COSIDA All-America Academic Team

Boston College forward McKenzie Meehan has been named to the 2015 Academic All-America Division 1 soccer team as announced today by the College Sports Information Directors of America (COSIDA).
Meehan, a native of Glocester, R.I., earned her undergraduate degree from BC in May of 2015. She is currently working on her MBA.
This past season Meehan proved she is at the top of her game after missing out the 2014 season with an Achilles injury. Meehan led Boston College and the ACC in scoring with 17 goals and four assists for 38 points.
The redshirt junior became the program's all-time leader in goals scored when she eclipsed the mark in a win over Pittsburgh on October 8. She now has 46 career goals and 98 career points. She is just 18 points away from becoming the program's all-time leading scorer. Meehan is also two game-winning-goals away from
An All-ACC first team selection, Meehan was a preseason Hermann Trophy Watchlist honoree. BC finished the season at 11-7-2 and Meehan scored in 12 of the teams' games. In the final five games, Meehan compiled six goals, four assists for 16 points.
