Women's Fencing
BC Women's fencing stands at the top of the NFC standings after going 6-0 in dual meet competition on Saturday afternoon. The Eagles are not alone at the top as Brandeis is also at 6-0.
Boston College fencing posted victories over perennial powerhouses Sacred Heart and Brown as well as Wellesley, BU, UNH and UMass.
All three squads contributed to the wins, with the epee squad going undefeated. Sabre fencer Marnie Krupat got her senior campaign off to a great start, posting a 15-1 record for the day. Fellow sabreur, freshman Laura Donovan was 13-2. Linda Zhang was 11-1 in foil.
Men's Fencing
The men's team NFC record stands at 4-1 after Saturday's meet, with wins against Sacred Heart, UMass, UNH, and BU. The sole loss of the day came against Brown.
The sabre squad led the way for the Eagles, winning 36 of their 45 bouts. Elliot Kim was 11-1 for the day, while Rahul Tasker was 10-2 and Harrison Tune 10-3. Senior Hanmin Kim was 11-4 in foil.
