- Junior Eryn McCoy opened the scoring in the 40th minute, punching in a dish from sister Emily McCoy
- Duke responded four minutes later when Amanda Kim knocked in a rebound in front of the net to even things up
- Ainsley Gill provided the game-winner for the Blue Devils, deflecting in a pass from teammate Alyssa Chillano
