Settipane Named ACC Co-Defensive Player of the Week

The senior is the first Eagle to receive ACC Player of the Week honors this season
CHESTNUT HILL, Mass. - Boston College senior goalkeeper Leah Settipane has another honor to add to her plethora of field hockey accomplishments.
The school's all-time career leader in wins, Settipane was named the ACC Co-Defensive Player of the Week Tuesday afternoon for her performance over the weekend. Settipane recorded a career-high 16 saves, playing a significant role during the Eagles thrilling upset over then-No. 5 Virginia, 5-4 (OT), on Saturday and picked up her third shutout of the season in a 2-0 victory against Richmond on Sunday.
Wake Forest goalkeeper Valerie Dahmen and Syracuse midfielder Alma Fenne joined Settipane as this week's honorees.Â
