Riley Tata got the Cavaliers on the board first just three minutes in, scoring off an assist from Lucy Hyams
Tata would get a second in the 24th minute, knocking in a rebound to extend the UVA lead
Just five minutes later, Tara Vittese made it 3-0 for the Cavs
Only a minute after the half, the Eagles got one back courtesy of senior Romee Stiekema who capitalized off an assist from junior Eryn McCoy
Ten minutes later in the 46th minute, junior Brittany Sheenan brought BC within one, scoring off a penalty corner
Virginia made it 4-2 in the 60th minute when Tata notched her hat trick off a rebound
Only a minute later the Eagles pulled back within one as senior Kelcie Hromisin netted off a broken penalty corner
Senior AshLeigh Sebia evened things up in the 65th minute knocking in a pass from Hromisin
Two minutes into overtime junior Emily McCoy took it 90 yards before scoring the game-winner
