- Junior Eryn McCoy netted a hat trick, putting her into a tie for the team high with seven goals on the season
- Freshman Frederique Haverhals recorded a pair of assists, giving her a team-high seven on the season
- McCoy and Haverhals have both recorded a point in five of the last six games
- The Eagles held a 15-3 edge in penalty corners
TURNING POINT
- Junior Eryn McCoy's hat trick put the Eagles up 3-1 early in the second half
HOW IT HAPPENED
- Nicole Miller got things started a minute in, flicking a rebound into the top right corner to stake the Minutewomen out to a 1-0 lead
- Five minutes later, junior Eryn McCoy evened things up, taking a pass from freshman Ymke Rose Gote and burying it into the left of the net
- McCoy would add another just seconds before the break, capitalizing off a penalty corner from freshman Frederique Haverhals
- In the 41st minute, McCoy would get her hat trick, once again scoring off a Haverhals penalty corner
- Nicole Kuerzi would get one back for UMass, scoring in the 53rd minute
