The Boston College women's soccer team will host No. 2 Virginia on Sunday afternoon in an ACC matchup at the Newton Soccer Field at 1 p.m. Fans can follow the game on Twitter/@bc_wsoc or live stats.

The Eagles are currently 9-5-1 overall and 3-2-1 in the ACC. BC is tied with Louisville in seventh place in the conference with 10 points. Virginia is 10-1-1 and 4-1-0 in the conference. The Cavaliers stand in second place behind Florida State in the ACC.

Both teams have not played since last Sunday. BC lost to No. 16 Notre Dame, 2-0, on the road. The Eagles are coming off a 2-2 road swing with wins over NC State and Pittsburgh. Virginia is coming off two conference wins – at Clemson and Wake Forest.

This is the first of three consecutive home games for Boston College. The Eagles will host Wake Forest on Thursday, October 22, followed by Miami on Sunday, October, 25. Fans remember to arrive early on Sunday as the Eagles will honor the 2015 senior class.
