
Men's Tennis Falls to No. 69 UCF, 6-1

West Point, N.Y.--The Boston College Men's Tennis team arrived to the Lichtenberg Tennis Center in West Point, N.Y. to face No. 69 University of Central Florida. Boston College would end up losing, 6-1.
Kyle Childree and Hank Workman (BC) evened the doubles competition at one a piece, defeating Francesc Aulina and Reece Acree (UCF), 6-4. Kent Mukai and Alexandre Thirouin (BC) put up a fight, but would end up losing the doubles match, giving UCF a 1-0 advantage heading into the singles competition.
Freshman Will Turner would be the lone singles victor for the Eagles. Turner put up a hard fought battle against Reece Acree (6-2, 3-6, 10-8). Turner has been victorious in each of his last two singles competitions. The same goes for Kyle Childree and Hank Workman in the doubles competition.
The Eagles will look to bounce back on Sunday, February 1st against either Buffalo or Army.
