Men's & Women's Fencing Have Strong Showing

The women's fencing team went 5-2 at the Northeast Fencing Conference last weekend. The Eagles defeated Vassar, Dartmouth, Smith, Tufts and MIT. BC is now 5-5 against varsity programs and 7-5 overall.
Junior Olivia Adragna went 15-2 for the tournament in epee. She was 3-0 in each of the matches against Vassar, MIT and Tufts. Senior Cara Hall was 11-4 while sophomore Renee Bichette was 10-5 in epee.
Foilist Linda Zhang went 10-5, while Marney Krupat was 8-7 in sabre.

Men's Results
The men's team was 3-3 for the day. Two of the losses vs. Brown and MIT came down to razor thin margins.
Foilist Hanmin Lee was 11-3, while epeeist Ethan Grabe went 12-4.
The men's overall record is now 3-5 against varsity opponents, 5-5 over-all and 3-3 in the Northeast Fencing Conference.
Both teams will compete at MIT in the Eric Sollee Invitational on Sunday, February 1st.
