Boston College Falls to University of Tampa

Outstanding performances were seen by Senior Andrew Stranick, who took first place in the 100 yd. Breaststroke with 58.06, as well as second place on the BC men's relay team in the 200 yd. Medley Relay, finishing overall with a time of 1:34.52. Sophomore Josh Williams was also recognized for an outstanding performance in the 100 yd. Backstroke, where he took second place with a time of 53.46.
For the women, Junior Jordan Parry, Senior Melissa Merwin and Junior Elizabeth Manning were all recognized as outstanding performers. Parry took first place in the 200 yd. Butterfly with a time of 2:12.84 and also placed in second place with an overall time of 1:51.33 in the 200 yd. Medley Relay on the team along with Merwin, Madeline Mailliard '17, and Maureen Barron '16. Merwin was recognized for outstanding performance in the 100 Breaststroke where she took first place with 1:09.21, and Manning had an outstanding performance in the 200 yd. Freestyle where she took first place with 1:58.14.
The Men's and Women's teams will next face Marist College on Saturday January 19th, hosted by Boston College
