September 29, 2014 | Field Hockey
Chestnut Hill, Mass. - Field hockey head coach Ainslee Lamb talked about the team's 3-2 overtime loss to No. 1 North Carolina on Friday and the Eagles' 2-1 win against New Hampshire Sunday afternoon at the Newton Sports Complex.
Boston College went to overtime for the fourth time in five games against No. 1 UNC and it marked the third time this season that BC took a top-ten team to overtime. On Sunday, the Eagles battled back against UNH after the Wildcats netted the first goal of the game. Lamb spoke on the relentless mentality of the team to compete against the top teams in the country.
Lamb also looked ahead to the Friday, Oct.3 contest against Atlantic Coast Conference opponent Wake Forest.
