The Boston College women's soccer team improved to 8-3 on the season with a 3-1 victory over Pittsburgh on Thursday night. The Eagles are now 1-1 in the conference.
BC will host No. 23 Clemson on Sunday morning at Gordon Field on the campus of Brandeis University at 11 a.m. Brandeis is located in Waltham, Mass. which is just nine miles from BC's main campus.
BC vs. Clemson
This is the 11th meeting between BC and Clemson. The Eagles have a 7-2-1 record against the Tigers. Clemson did win last year's meeting, 2-1.
Last Time Out
Boston College is coming off a 3-1 win over Pittsburgh on Thursday night. Hayley Dowd had two goals and set up Jana Jeffrey with the third goal of the night. Freshman goalkeeper Darien Dunham had nine saves in her first collegiate victory.

Hayley Dowd leads the ACC in points and goals scored as she has notched eight goals and three assists for 19 points. Dowd has registered three multiple-point games this season - North Florida (2g, 1a), Illinois State (1g, 1a) and Pittsburgh (2g, 1a). Dowd also has three game-winning goals ... Senior Stephanie McCaffrey is second in the ACC in points as she has notched six goals and six assists for 18 points. McCaffrey has registered four multiple-point games - Colgate (1g, 1a), North Florida (1g, 1a), Illinois State (2g, 1a) and South Florida (2g) ... Rookie Darien Dunham earned her first career win in goal as she made nine saves against Pittsburgh on Thursday night. Dunham, a native of Cheshire, Conn., has started the last two games ... Ten players have played in every game this season ... Stephanie McCaffrey has moved to fifth on the all-time goal scoring list at BC. She is one goal behind tying Mary Guarino '99 and two behind Victoria DiMartino '13. Her 25 career assists has her tied with Victoria DiMartino in fifth on the all-time list. She is currently fourth in overall points with 89 ... Junior Lauren Bernard, who was a defender for BC the last two seasons, is the third leading scorer on the team this season with nine points.
