Women's Soccer Hosts Pittsburgh on Thursday Night

The Boston College women's soccer (7-3) team will host Pittsburgh and Clemson this week. The Eagles and Panthers (4-5-1) will play on Thursday night at 8 p.m. at Harvard. Admission is free.
The Eagles are scheduled to host Clemson on Sunday at 1 p.m.
BC defeated Pittsburgh, 3-0, last season behind goals from McKenzie Meehan, Stephanie McCaffrey and Hayley Dowd. The Eagles have a 6-0 edge in the overall series against Pittsburgh.
On Friday, Sept. 19, Pittsburgh lost to Duke, 3-0. The Panthers are now 4-5-1 and will play three consecutive ACC road games: at Boston College (Sept. 25), at Syracuse (Sept. 28) and at North Carolina State (Oct. 4).
Senior Stephanie McCaffrey leads the Eagles in points as she has notched six goals, six assists for 18 points. Sophomore Hayley Dowd is second wiht 16 points (six goals, four assists).
