Chestnut Hill, Mass. – Field hockey head coach Ainslee Lamb discussed the team’s two gutsy wins over competitive regional teams this past weekend.
Boston College defeated Boston University, 2-1, in a cross-town showdown Friday, Sep. 12 that went to overtime. The Eagles downed defending national champion UConn on Sunday in two rounds of shootouts.
With their strong wins over the weekend, the Eagles have moved up four spots in the Penn Monto/NFHCA Coaches’ Poll to No. 11.
Coach Lamb also talked about the team’s first ACC matchup at No. 4 Syracuse Saturday, Sep. 20 at 1 p.m.
