Assistant coach Tim Ritchie discusses Minuteman Invitational

Chestnut Hill, Mass. – Men’s cross country assistant coach Tim Ritchie sat down this week to talk about the team’s performance at the Minuteman Invitation on Saturday, Sep. 13.
The Boston College men’s team made a significant improvement over last year’s results at the Minuteman Invitational. In 2013, the Eagles placed fourth overall. This year, BC took second place, with five Boston College runners finishing in the top 20.
The team’s average time in this year’s Minuteman Invitational was 25 seconds faster than last year.

Ritchie spoke about the depth of the team, with a close spread in the top five finishers. He talked about Sophomore Tyler Hanson’s leadership and potential for the upcoming races.
The men’s cross country team races next at the Coast-to-Coast Battle in Beantown on Friday, Sep. 26.
