Boston College placed second in the second varsity eight, second varsity four, and third varsity eight and finished third in the first and fourth varsity eight races in a regatta against Rhode Island and Massachusetts on the Narrow River in Kingston, R.I., on Saturday.
Rhode Island won the Resolute Cup which is contested in the varsity eight between URI and BC.
The Eagles’ third varsity eight provided one of the closest races of the day pulling ahead of the UMass A boat in the final few strokes.
Boston College returns to action on Saturday, April 5 in a dual race against MIT on the Charles River in Boston, Mass.
