RALEIGH, N.C. - The Boston College men's track and field team competed in the Raleigh Relays this weekend.
Junior Richard Lucas placed second in his flight in the 10,000mby clocking in at 31:16.75. Junior James Newhouse finished 10th in the same race with a time of 31:46.31. Both runners along with freshman Kevin Sullivan ran automatic qualifying times for the New England Championships.
Senior Anthony Bellitti had a nice showing in the steeplechase by finishing fourth in his flight with a time of 9:22.61.
Sophomore Mitchell McGinty finished 10th in the javelin with a toss of 56.53m which was a personal record.
The Eagles will compete in the Sam Howell Invitational next weekend at Princeton.
