BC Fencing sent 18 fencers to the NCAA Northeast Regionals at Wellesley College on Sunday, and was represented very strongly by the women's epee squad.
Cara Hall placed ninth in women's epee, closely followed by Renee Bichette and Olivia Adragna, who finished 12th and 13th. Both Bichette and Hall made it far into the 5th and final round of competition, facing the best from Harvard, Yale, Cornell, Columbia, and powerhouse, St. John's. All three narrowly missed qualifying for the NCAA Championships by a few bouts.
Other Eagles who finished in the top-25 of their respective weapons included -- Hanmin Lee (22nd) in men's foil, Grace Lisius (24th) in women's foil, Devin Midgely (25th) in men's sabre, and Marney Krupat (25th) in women's sabre.
