Women's Basketball To Host Hofstra

The Boston College women's basketball team will host Hofstra on Sunday, Dec. 21 at Conte Forum. Tip-off is at noon. Fans can view the game online at www.bceagles.com. Tickets are still available and can be purchased at the door.
Boston College is coming off a win over New Hampshire last Sunday. Freshman Ashley Kelsick led the Eagles with 14 points, while Kelly Hughes had 12 points and a team-high nine rebounds.
Today's game against Hofstra marks the third time the two teams will meet. The Eagles lead the overall series, 2-0. Former BC student manager Mike Gibson is the Director of Operations for the Pride.

TEAM NOTES
- Nicole Boudreau and Kelly Hughes are the only two players on the roster to start every game this season.
- Freshman Ashley Kelsick leads all rookies with eight starts in 10 games. She has notched double-figures in four games.
- The Eagles are 38th in the country in team assists per game (16.5) and fourth in the ACC. BC's lowest team assist total was 12 vs. UNH. The Eagles had a season-high 23 against Bryant.
- Boston College is 24th in the country in three-point field goal percentage.
- BC continues to lead the ACC in three-pointers made with 87. Kelly Hughes is the co-leader in the conference with 27 three's made, while Nicole Boudreau is third with 28.
- Sophomore Kelly Hughes is 86th in the country in assist-to-turnover ratio.
