Chestnut Hill, Mass. - Junior forward Alex Carpenter and freshman goaltender Katie Burt have earned Hockey East Player of the Week and Defensive Player of the week respectively, after their performances in BC's 6-1 win over Dartmouth on Dec. 10. The Eagles have earned ten weekly honors this season along with three monthly accolades.
Carpenter tallied four points on a goal and three assists against the Big Green. The North Reading, Mass. native is on a 16-game point streak and leads the nation in almost all offensive categories, including points (45) and points per game (2.81).
Burt stopped a career-high 29 shots against Dartmouth, only allowing one goal in the Eagles' win over the Big Green. The Lynn, Mass. native is second in the nation in goals against average (1.04) and third in save percentage (.946).

Carpenter's and Burt's performances helped No. 1 Boston College to its 15th consecutive victory on Dec. 10, continuing the program's longest winning streak and tying BC's longest unbeaten streak (18 games).
The Eagles return from the break on Jan. 7 to face crosstown rival Boston University at Kelley Rink at 7 p.m.
