BC 16 - Johns Hopkins 11
BC Fencing kicked off their dual meet season at Brandeis on Sunday with the women going 2 and 3 with wins coming against Johns Hopkins and Air Force, with a very narrow loss to Yale. "This is a great start to the season," commented Coach Fadner. "Last season at this event we lost by a wide margin to those three schools, so to post these results is very encouraging."

The men finished the day with two nail-biting 14-13 wins over Yale and Air Force. "Very proud of this team," said Coach Fadner. "We were missing two key starters, and our sabre squad is very young, but this team showed great fight and resiliency. I'm excited to see what they do when the season resumes after break."
The freshman sabre squad combined for an 8-1 showing against Yale, with Eliot Kim and Harrison Tune both posting wins against NCAA qualifier Hugh O'Cinneide.
Junior Hanmin Lee had a strong day, going 8-4 in foil. His record includes a win against Air Force NCAA qualifier Alex Chiang.
