Chestnut Hill, Mass. – Freshman forward Tori Sullivan has been named Pro Ambitions Rookie of the Week, according to a release issued by the Women’s Hockey East Association on Monday afternoon. This is Sullivan’s first career league accolade and BC’s fourth league honor of the season.
The West Bloomfield, Mich. native tallied her first three collegiate goals in last weekend’s sweep of Providence. The freshman netted two goals in the Oct. 31 8-0 shutout of the Friars at home and added another goal on the road in the Nov. 1 4-1 win. Sullivan ended the weekend with a plus-three.
Sullivan and the Eagles are back in action this weekend, taking on two Hockey East opponents. On Saturday, Nov. 8, BC will face Northeastern on the road at 2 p.m. Boston College welcomes Vermont to Kelley Rink Sunday, Nov. 9 at 2 p.m.
