BC Skiing Community Service Day at Blue Hills

The BC Alpine Ski Team undertook a service day at Blue Hills. The team spent hours scouring the race hill, digging out rocks and even some boulders. Smoothing out the surface will allow the mountain to lay down a more effective surface to train on. From there, the team pulled out all the B netting and serviced it by resetting the poles and repairing any damage.

Although Blue Hills is not the team's primary training venue, it is near and dear to theirhearts. The mountain is great to the ski team as they give them preferred training timesand a great atmosphere to race in. The ski team always tries to give back to the mountain and the local racing community as much as possible.
