Men's XC Competes at NCAA Regional Championships

Bronx, N.Y. – Boston College men’s cross country competed in the NCAA Northeast Regional on Friday, Nov. 14 in New York. Sophomore James Zingarini was the Eagles’ top finisher in the men’s 10k, completing the Cortlandt Park course in 31:58.9, good for 85th place overall.
BC’s second finisher was sophomore Tyler Hanson, who crossed the finish line at 32:42.27.
Rounding out the top five finishers for the Eagles were senior James Newhouse (32:50.66), senior Richard Lucas (33:01.86), and junior Nicholas Denari (33:05.67).
Other Eagle finishers included sophomore Michael Stephens (33:53.52 ), sophomore Brian McDavitt (34:02.14), and freshman Daniel Moverman.
Boston College finished in 25th place as a team out of a field of 39 teams with a score of 674. Syracuse (45), Providence (48), Iona (60), Columbia (126), and Cornell (141) were the top five teams to finish at the NCAA Northeast Regional.
