Chestnut Hill, Mass. - Kasey Hill ('08) sat down to talk about her induction into the Boston College Hall of Fame on Oct. 17. Upon arriving at the Heights, Kasey Hill made her mark on the BC track & field record books. In 2008, Hill received The Nathaniel J. Hasenfus `22 Eagle of the Year Award. She competed in the heptathlon at the 2008 and 2012 U.S. Olympic Trials. Hill is the school record hodler in the heptathlon with 5,687 points, pentathlon with 4,073 points and the 60 meter hurdles (8.56). She ranks among the all-time top-five lists in the following outdoor events: 100 m hurles (13.73), 200m (24.52), shot put (13.17) and the long jump (5.89). Her indoor marks include the 55m hurdles (8.00), 60m (7.89), 200m (24.85), shot put (13.10m) and long jump (5.72). Hill became the first ever BC track & field athlete to earn All-America honors at the 2007 NCAA Indoor Championships.
