Women's Soccer To Play at Wake Forest, Duke

The Boston College women’s soccer team will hit the road for two games in North Carolina. The Eagles will play at Wake Forest on Thursday night in Winston-Salem at 7 p.m. Two days later, Boston College will be at Duke in Durham on Sunday afternoon for a 1 p.m. game.
Boston College is currently 10-6-0 overall and 3-4-0 in the conference for sixth place. After the two-game road swing, BC will host Notre Dame in the final regular season game on Nov. 1 (7 p.m.).
Wake Forest is coming off an upset victory over No. 10 Virginia Teach on October 18. Senior Kim Marshall scored her first career goal in the victory. The Demon Deacons are now 4-8-2 overall and 2-4-1 in the conference.

- BC leads the overall series, 6-4. The Eagles are 4-2 at home against Wake Forest.
- The Eagles won last year’s matchup, 1-0, behind a goal from McKenzie Meehan in the 23rd minute. At the time the Demon Deacons were ranked ninth in the country.

- Hayley Dowd has five game-winning goals, which is tops in the ACC and eighth in the country. She is also 14th in the country in goals scored with 12.
- Senior Alexandra Johnson is currently 45th in the country in goals-against-average at 0.73. She also has five shutouts this season.
