The Boston College women's soccer team is coming off a key victory over No. 9 Wake Forest on Thursday night. The Eagles (5-5-0, 2-3-0) will now head to Raleigh, North Carolina to play at NC State on Sunday, Sept. 29 at 1 p.m. Fans remember the game will be broadcast live on ESPN3.
Sophomore McKenzie Meehan notched the lone goal to lead BC past the Demon Deacons. It was Meehan's team-leading fifth game-winning goal of the season and seventh overall.
Junior goalkeeper Alex Johnson earned her second victory and shutout of the season. Johnson has started three games and has a goals-against-average of 0.31.

• The Eagles have a 8-0 edge in the overall series.
• In the last five meetings, BC won by a one goal differential in four games.
• In the 2012 season, Boston College defeated NC State, 6-2, behind two goals and two assists by Stephanie McCaffrey and two goals from McKenzie Meehan.

• Jackie Stengel, who is the younger sister of Wake Forest's Kate Stengel, leads the Pack with eight goals and one assist.
• Despite a 1-4 record in the ACC, the Pack only lost to FSU and Miami by one goal.
